So far, I've read 3 out of 4 of Julie klassen books. I have loved them all. My favorite is Apothecary's Daughter, then Silent Governess, then Lady of Milkweed Manor. If you like Jane Austen, or Georgette Heyer, you will like these. These are Christian books, so they do have a bit of religion in them, but not too much, not enough to annoy.
Some aspect of Lady of Milkweed Manor reminded me of Jane Eyre a little, which I didn't like, because I really didn't like Jane Eyre. Overall, I still enjoyed it.
If anyone wants to borrow the last two, I have them, and I'd be happy to loan them out.
